Scout Sunday will be celebrated on February 8 at 8 AM Mass. All scouts both youth and adult are invited to come to Mass and wear their scout’s uniforms.
Ash Wednesday will be observed on February 18, 2026 with Masses at 8 AM and 7 PM. Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent, the season of preparation for the resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday.
First LENTEN FISH DINNER Home Battered Haddock – Friday, February 20, 2026 from 12-5 PM. Holy Mother of Sorrows, Frank Bednash Memorial Hall, 212 Wyoming Avenue, Dupont, PA. Takeouts only; Dinner includes: fish, fries, vegetable, coleslaw, dinner roll; Donation is $14
Annual Parish Meeting will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at 10 AM in Frank Bednash Memorial Hall. All parishioners are welcome to attend. Only one Mass will be celebrated at 9 AM. Any nominations (resignations) to the Parish Committee, submit to Rose Kazinetz at 570-604-2632 by 2/8/2026
Food distribution for qualified Dupont and Suscon residents will be held on Thursday, February 26 at Holy Mother of Sorrows Hall. Volunteers are welcome to come and help to pack all the food – starts around 8:30 AM.

Lenten Retreat will be held for our Seniorate on Saturday, March 14 at 10 AM at St. Adalbert’s PNCC Parish in Dickson City, 515 Mary Street. All our Parishioners are invited to attend. Lunch will be provided.
